A Shower in an hour!

On November 14th, 2018, ASI had a live Schluter demonstration and training on the Schluter shower systems, Kerdi-Board, and Ditra-Heat. Whether you are a DIYer, or a contractor, Schluter has made shower building, and waterproofing simple and easy.

During the Live Demo seminar, we learned about current product, some exciting new product, as well making shower construction that much more fast and easy!

So what exactly did we learn about?
Kerdi-Board- A substrate and building panel that is lightweight and water-proof, that is perfect for tiling.

Ditra-Heat- Is the only electric floor warming system that directly incorporates uncoupling technology to ensure that floors aren't susceptible to cracked tiles and grout.

Kerdi-Line- Perfect for barrier-free showers, the Kerdi-Line low profile linear drain is designed for water-proofing assemblies and enables the use of sloped floors and large-format tiles.

During the live demonstration, Tim showed us how each product is used, and the simple installation process. Schluter has made shower installation not only quick, but it also meets all building regulations!

Unwanted water can be a problem even in the bathroom, where moisture is always present. Allowing water to permeate the grout might cause it to trickle all the way down to the substrate. If the water seepage stays unnoticed and untreated, mold or mildew could grow in your bathroom or possibly other sections of your house. Needless to say, this is both a health hazard and a costly repair task.
