Meet our dedicated staff

Geraldine - Design Consultant

Geraldine has always had a passion for decorating, but only recently has her love extended to tile, stone, wood, and other flooring choices. Because flooring is permanent and accentuates the feel and style of a home, she encourages customers not to compromise on their selection. As Geraldine reminds her clients, paint color on a wall can be changed easily, flooring underneath your feet cannot! When she is not advising customers, Geraldine explores her other passions, cooking and entertaining.

Christy - Design Consultant

Born in Las Cruces and raised in Santa Fe, Christy arrived in Albuquerque fifteen years ago. Enrollment in the ASI Sales Training program gave Christy on-the-job training and taught her how to explain the durability, maintenance, and cost of different types of flooring to potential customers. Christy believes that helping people make a decision based upon their needs and their budgets is as important as the flooring they select. Roller-blading and cooking as well as spending time with her boyfriend, family, and friends keeps Christy busy.

Karen - Design Consultant

Karen may not be a native New Mexican, but after living in Albuquerque for the past thirty years with her husband, she considers herself a life-long resident. A twenty-one year history in the home design industry has taught Karen to visualize the space being furnished, not simply on the beauty of the particular flooring. Complimenting a person’s style is important, but so is functionality, too. Travelling is Karen’s other passion, and when she is not working, she may be planning her next trip.

Katie - Design Consultant

Katie moved to Albuquerque three years ago to earn her degree at the Art Center Design College for Interior Design. Inspired by a conversation with ASI sales representative, Christy Edwards, Katie counsels customers to consider not only the beauty of a floor design, but one’s personal lifestyle. “While flooring selections and design should reflect your decorating taste and style, functionality and maintenance of tile, natural stone, or wood is important, too.” As a relative newcomer to Albuquerque, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends outside of work.
